21st April 2017
This is the first day of CTHE2017 class. We were given an introduction about the class by Dr. R.B. Marasinghe.
The class was divided into seven groups and asked to present our expectations on one of the main topics that is going to be covered in the class. It was a group activity. After we presented our points one by one, Dr. Marasinghe showed some pictures he took while we were doing the group work.
He mention the key characters in a group: leader, note taker (secretary), and a presenter. He also point out that a person with less interaction (or the idling person) with the group might knows the entire subject matter that group is discussing, does not know anything, does not want to involve (tired or sleepy), or does not want to disturb the flow. There was a question from the class: What if the number of idling people in a group is more than one?.
